Skin Care Tips for Swimmers
Sometimes nothing feels better than a cool dip in a pool or the ocean on a hot day. Until you get out, that is. While swimming is therapeutic for the mind and good for the heart, it is not always the best for your skin.
Whether you swim in a chemically treated pool, a salt-filled ocean, or a pond or lake, there are steps you can take to insure that your skin remains healthy and hydrated.
There is no cause for concern. What your skin is exhibiting is a classic symptom of over exposure to chlorinated water. Water in a swimming pool is highly chlorinated which is not good for your skin. Excessive chlorine in water dries your skin by depleting it of its moisture and it also severely hampers the skin cells ability to retain moisture.
Use a mild soap and lukewarm water for the bath and clean your body of the pool water thoroughly. Additionally, there are several lotions and creams that are sold over the counter that are effective in protecting your skin from the ravages of chlorinated water. Water proof sunscreen lotion is one among them. Caution is however advised in choosing these products though, since several of them have a harsh chemical composition which will further worsen matters as far as the tanning is concerned.
In extreme cases, some substances may also act as an allergen on your skin. Hence go for products that are preferably herbal and mild. Visit a dermatologist and better understand your skin type and its needs before choosing these products.
After the bath, moisturize your skin well using a gentle moisturizer. Gently massage the moisturizing lotion on to your skin using your fingertips in a rotating motion. A banana pack is also said to be highly effective in reducing the darkening and restoring natural skin color.
Leave the pack on the skin for at least an hour for this treatment to produce any visible results. Supplementing your diet with some essential nutrients will also help. Increase your daily intake of nutrients such as vitamin E and vitamin C. Vitamin C is an excellent natural anti oxidant and vitamin E helps improve your skin’s moisture retention capability.
Additionally, eat a lot of protein rich foods like eggs, meat, pulses and so on. Also eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Keeping your skin hydrated is also vital. Drink lots of water and other fluids like fresh fruit juices to achieve this. You can also try humidifying your environment. Stand in a hot shower with the door closed for twenty minutes. This can work wonders for skin darkened due to over exposure to chlorinated water in a swimming pool.

Not all expensive skin care products are necessarily high-quality products, but many inexpensive skin care products are definitely low-quality products. Avoid products that contain unnecessary preservatives and fragrances, as they may contribute to skin damage.

When we recently got the chance to take the latest 2010 MV Agusta Brutale 990R for a spin, we didn't find the naked bike lacking for power. With 998cc of inline-four goodness cranking itself merrily away under the rider, measuring 139 horsepower and 78 pound-feet of torque when measured at the crankshaft, the new Brutale has plenty of oomph.
If you find yourself in need for more horses, though, MV Agusta will gladly sell you the enlarged 1090RR version with 144 horsepower. And if that's still not enough? A head examination may be in order – this is a naked bike after all – but there's always the newly announced Cannonball Kit to feed your insatiable lust for power.
According to the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, the combination of new ECU, cylinder head, camshafts, valves and titanium exhaust system will add an additional 21 horses to the 1090RR, putting total output at 165 horsepower. LG unveiled its first environmentally friendly air conditioning system and hybrid nature since it also supports a solar panel to be applied externally to obtain clean energy for operation.
Not yet a solar supply one hundred percent, but the energy derived from solar panel built into the system LG F-Q232LASS is around 70 watts per hour, which are not to be thrown away.
The solar panel is mounted just above the suitcase that the component to be applied outside the home, has a size of 28,000 BTU or about 76 square meters and is attached to the air conditioner LG F-Q232LASS
The rest of the energy needed to operate the air conditioner LG F-Q232LASS is supplemented by electricity and of course depends on the intensity required by the user. Reduces the average CO2 emission of 212 kg in ten years, representing the work of 780 trees in the same period.

ECLIPSE: Erste Erfolge in den USA!
In den USA ist Eclipse ja schon in den meisten Kinos am laufen. Jetzt wurden auch die ersten Zahlen der bespielten Kinoleinwände bekannt gegeben, die diesen Spiel bisher abgespielt haben. Über 4416 Leinwände in ganz USA wurde der Film gespielt, das ist neuer Rekord, damit überholen sie auch den Spitzenreiter Iron Man 2 der nur 4380 unter beschlag nahm. Das fängt ja schon gut an, nicht war ;)

Ja ihr habt richtig gehört! Wyck Goldfrey der Produzent der Twilight-Filme hat sich jetzt mächtig verplappert in Sachen Beziehnung von Kristen & Robert! In einem Interview sagte er folgendes:
"Es beeinflusst unser Hauptgeschäft überhaupt nicht. Worüber ich nachdenke ist Oh mein Gott, Ich hoffe sie bleiben zusammen. Denn bei dem nächsten Film könnte es am Set seltsam werden wenn sie sich trennen würden. Es ist so, dass sie die Liebesstory noch in 2 weiteren Filmen spielen müssen.
